Het Met Gala van dit jaar dresscode was tegelijkertijd heel specifiek en heel open voor interpretatie, waardoor we ons afvroegen: hoe zouden andere ontwerpers "ter ere van Karl" interpreteren? Welk deel van zijn werk zouden mensen kiezen om naar te verwijzen? Of zouden ze gewoon inspiratie opdoen van de iconische man zelf? Hoeveel vintage Chanel zou worden gedragen?
Zoals op elke eerste maandag van mei waren de rode loper-looks van de avond alom aanwezig, en of ze nu bij het thema pasten of niet, sommige waren onvermijdelijk beter dan andere.
